Loretta Hamilton Trejo

Loretta Hamilton Trejo serves as an Autism Specialist with over two decades of experience in special education. Her career spans roles as a Special Education Teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Throughout her journey in education, Loretta has remained deeply committed to supporting individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

 

For more than 20 years, Loretta has dedicated both her professional and volunteer efforts to the special needs community. While her early work focused on school-age children, she has recently turned her attention toward the critical transition to adulthood. Her belief that all children are capable of success fuels her passion for helping adults with developmental disabilities thrive in supportive living and work environments.

 

Loretta brings to the board a wealth of experience in education and parent advocacy. She has a deep understanding of how systems can better serve individuals with special needs and the families who support them. Outside of her professional life, Loretta provides habilitation and respite services for families in her community, and she finds joy in travel—always planning her next adventure.
